The Junior Plastics Song Contest 3 is the third edition of the Junior Plastics Song Contest. It was planned to be hosted at the Symphony Auditorium in Sessturia, Trimute Lands on a future date. The contest will only consist of a final. There was speculation that  Wanheda, the previous winner, would host the edition, but as the nation, as well as the majority of the provisional nations, left long after it was first announced, fears were high whether or not the JPSC series would continue.

The edition was once again green-lit by the head of the PBA, where  Trimute Lands, a nation which debuted on the 21st edition of its adult counterpart, is asked to host the edition instead. The nation finally accepted being the new hosts for this edition on the 3rd of September 2020. On 29th of August the RPTV The Rusenlandian Public TeleVision announced that they have been talking with the PBU to make the Junior Plastics Song Contest to return because almost after a year the contest still haven’t take place. Rusenlandian Republic has decided to also host the edition and debut. RPTV also decided that every city can enter in the bidding phase to host the Junior Plastics Song Contest.

History[edit | edit source]

The last Junior edition ended with Betty of  Wanheda with "New Generation", which took place between the 12th and 13th edition of its adult counterpart. By then, many nations who'd agreed to participate in this edition left, and by the main counterpart's 25th edition, the fate of JPSC was undecided, even by the PBA themselves.

The head of the PBA planned to retire the junior contest, as stated, "interest for young children representing their nations through music has continued to decrease, as the main contest continues to lose its appeal from its prime two years ago. Many beloved partners of nations have either been fallen, broken, or lost land and population, or even all three together, but one thing is for sure, there's a chance that our Junior contests will cease if it continues that way."

Lumina Tryangel, the CEO of TRTN,  Trimute Lands' broadcaster, where the nation had its first appearance on the main counterpart's 21st edition, spoke about the recent knowledge of the Junior contest, saying "it's not right to see the talents of young hopefuls go to waste, especially since there isn't any talent shows airing in recent times, and especially during an economic surplus amongst members of the PBA."

As the main contest recently gained new deals with nations, as well as callbacks from long-time members, a plan to revive JPSC was in order, and being the only nation interested in hosting, along with not doing well in other participating music competitions, TRTN decided to book the contest "not just to improve tourism alongside the cities of Trimute Lands, but to showcase the youth of the nation's ability to perform alongside a big name in the music industry", as stated by Tryangel herself.

After a year the contest was still left undecided. On the 29 of August it was announced the Junior edition of the contest will take place in 2021. Kars Rademakers, The CEO of RPTV said that children need to have a bigger stage in this contest. And has decided, together with the Rusenlandian government to put 12 million American dollars in the contest

On the 28th of October it was decided by RPTV they would experiment with a Televote and that it would be more exciting if the results aren’t positive they will return to only Jury system.
